The Real Love Musical Screening
The Real Love Musical screening is coming to Auckland!
Join us for a wonderful afternoon as we present this incredible, uplifting story with stellar cast including Joanna Ampil as Thanh (Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats etc) and a beautiful score by Tony, Oscar, Grammy and Emmy award winning composers.
The musical is inspired by the true story of a woman propelled to make a heartrending decision as she embarks on what seems a destined journey travelling through India and the Himalayas, encountering adventure, danger, and surprises along the way.
The unforgettable story is sure to bring tears, laughter, and poignant memories for audiences of all backgrounds.
Light vegan refreshments (snacks and tea/coffee) are COMPLEMENTARY and we will have a selection of Supreme Master Ching Hai's books and poetry available for viewing (the songs in the musical are set to this extraordinary poetry).
Don't miss this uplifting FREE event. Alongside Joanna Ampil the musical features an all star cast - Adam Pascal, Robert Torti, Faith Riveira, Shirley Jones, Daisy Eagan, Cady Huffman and more. Music by Oscar & 5-time Emmy winner Bill Conti (“Rocky”), 2-time Oscar winner Al Kasha (“The Poseidon Adventure”), Emmy nominee Doug Katsaros, Tony & Emmy winner Don Pippin (“Oliver!”), and Oscar & 2-time Grammy winner David Shire (“Baby”). The Director is Chris Shelton for this superb musical and the outstanding Choreographer is Mark Knowles.
